Order generic Astelin online

Astelin information

Astelin is a prescription antihistamine nasal spray, used for the treatment of seasonal allergic rhinitis and non-allergic vasomotor rhinitis. Rhinitis is an inflammation of the mucous membranes lining the nose, which causes constant "cold" symptoms such as sneezing, nasal congestion, and runny nose. Allergic rhinitis is rhinitis that happens as an allergic reaction to an allergen (grass, pollen, dustmites, etc.), whereas nonallergic rhinitis occurs in persons who are affected by environmental or chemical-based irritants. The symptoms in either case are the same, and they can be relieved by use of Astelin. Astelin has been proven to be an effective alternative in patients whose symptoms weren't relieved by other medications, such as Allegra and Claritin.

How to store Astelin

The nasal spray should be stored at room temperature.

Astelin's Side Effects

Side effects associated with ASTELIN are generally mild. The most common are bitter taste, headache, drowsiness, and nasal burning.

Drug Interactions with Astelin

Azelastine can promote the sedating effects of other medications that cause sedation. Such drugs include narcotic pain relievers (e.g., Percocet), barbiturates, sedatives such as alprazolam (Xanax) or clonazepam (Klonopin), and ethanol.

Astelin Warnings

The effect of Astelin on unborn babies has not been tested sufficiently. When considering prescribing Astelin to a pregnant woman, the MD should weigh the benefits against the potential risks to the baby. It is not known whether Astelin passes into breast milk. Use of Astelin by breastfeeding women may have an unwanted effect on the nursing baby.
