Using Ionamin

Ionamin is taken on an empty stomach, usually once a day, about 30-60 minutes before breakfast. The tablet may be broken or cut in half, but not crushed or chewed. Ionamin may cause sleeplessness. Tell your MD if you might be pregnant or if you are or intend to start breastfeeding. Limit alcohol use during treatment with Ionamin; use of alcohol may increase unwanted side effects of dizziness. This drug is not recommended for use in children.
